Our
History
S.U was established in 1988 when house music was still in its infancy
S.U always stayed independent from major record companies and true
to the UK dance music scene
S.U was one of the first companies to release a rave compilation to
the masses Illegal Rave vol 1
S.U was one of the first companies to release a rave artist album-Def
till dawn by Sonic Experience
S.U was one of the original illegal rave promoters with their famous
M25 Parties like Hardcore Hellraisers
S.U was the first record label to show case the sound of the uk pirate
radio stations- Illegal pirate radio vol 1..
We have been supporters of pirate radio dance music station since
1986
S.U was the winner of the hardcore dance award in 1994 for The best
compilation albums
Winner again of the hardcore dance awards in 1995 for The best compilations
We did not win in 1996 because the category was deleted due to us
rinsing any serious competition! We would have won it again!
We promoted and Toured around most of the world with our drum and
bass and hardcore style since 1983
We have never been afraid to make the music we believed in and always
ready to take on and adapt new forms of underground music into our
vibe, without ever feeling the need to sell out.
We were the promoter of the massive and First ever Wembley raves called
Ravealation with over 12,000 attendances at every event including
New years eve.
We are the most successful independent underground label in the UK
because we love what we do even when it is not in flavour with the
so called movers and shakers of the music industry!
That is why we are Still rinsing it when our so-called competitors
have long since died and been forgotten!
