Place of Birth: BARKING, February 1982.
As an 11 year old boy I started mixing on my first set of, what I
liked to call, decks. (2 different JVC turntables).
I had built a sterdy collection of vinyl by the age of 14 and entered
an East London and Essex DJ competition resulting in 8th place out
of 175 competitors.
I was the youngest. After I had got firmly on my feet with teaching
myself to mix, I started picking up microphones and having little
blasts when my friends were mixing.
After a while a few people started encouraging me to carry on, even
though the lyrics I was saying may not have been my own.................After
so long, I started writing my own ideas.
As I had a small residency in a popular pub in my home town, along
with fellow radio station Force FM, I had an audience to practise
in front of and it seemed that what I was saying was actually being
taken in by the people watching.
When I realised people were actually listening and enjoying what I
do, I started writing about things people could relate to, kind of
telling stories in rhyme form.
After a short time I had a whole list of lyrics I could reel off to
the crowd with ease because getting my tongue around fast words and
tongue twisters I've never had a problem with.
Anyone can talk fast if you focus on what you're saying. As time went
on I just found myself playing at small clubs in my local area, weekly
residencies, monthly residencies and guest slots until I was asked
to play at "Plush" @ Hollywoods Romford.
This was a very big event to me at the time, playing alongside artists
such as Artful Dodger, DJ Luck, Norris 'Da Boss' Windross etcŠ
This was by far the best event I had ever played at infront of a crowd
of over 1100 people, the venue was packed stupid and the atmosphere
was well and truly unreal, nobody cared and the night was from beginning
to end under full control.
Playing at this event then led to a residency at Hollywoods........and
erm, that's where the story twists!......... I really don't know what
happened from there. It all happened so quick.
Plush led to The Hollywoods residency which led to a residency at
IKON/DIVA in Crawley, West Sussex and shortly after...... here I am
today......
Since my residency in Crawley, I have played abroad, across the country,
and at such events as: Peach at Camden Palace, Garage Nation, Pure
Silk, Club EQ, North Londons Opera House and many more.
During my experience, I have had the pleasure of working with some
of the following titles:
Masterstepz, The Pay as U Go cartel, Mike 'Ruffcut' Lloyd, Ray Hurley,
Danny Blunt, DJ Milan, the Wideboys, Karl 'Tuff E Nuff' Brown, DJ

and of course many top named MC's.
As most people probably already know, I have a track on Strictly Underground
featuring myself and Mark Ryder called ''Move Your Body''.
We are also working on a track entitled 'Killer Instinct' and not
forgetting "101% UK GARAGE" Parts 1&2.

My views as an MC are to be able to create original ideas, things
that make u think. Things that mean other things, or could mean 2
things at once.
When I watch an mc, I am checking him for his talent, his content
and his timing.
If he is standing there shouting "MOVE TO THE BASS, JUMP IN THE PLACE,
UP IN YOUR FACE,???????????
That to me means NOTHING AT ALL!! I will walk away because he may
as well be going back to back with my nan who would probably show
him up!!!
As long as it means something, that for me is the main part. "If it
doesn't mean anything, why say it???? the reason people pay attention
to what you say is because they know what you are talking about and
they can relate to it.
So as long as you lot keep listening to what I am telling you about,
I have reason to keep writing and making records so,......................ITS
ALL ON YOU!!!!!!! .................BIG TINGZ FOR THE FUTURE, BIG UP
