DJ Ego has been a Dj for 3 years and started Djing professionally about a year ago playing UK Underground Garage. First starting at friend's parties, just for experience, and then gradually moving on to hosting has own parties. After about a year and a half, Dj Ego decided to form his own small promotions company, called ESL (Excessive Sound Levels). Hosting parties in Brentwood, Romford and in the Essex area normally in halls or pubs. Then in June 1999 Dj Ego hosted his first club night at Sam's Nightclub in Brentwood. Atfer the night went well, and on this basis he approached a new club that was about to open known as Time & Envy. After discussions with the club's management, DJ Ego and ESL partner, DJ Keen were given Under 18`s night residencies. Then in the early part of July 2000 the pair became Time & Envy's Friday night garage resident's. DJ Ego joined Erotic 101.3Fm at about the same time and took the 12pm to 2pm slot on Sundays. Apart from DJ Ego's residencies at Time and Envy and his show on Erotic FM he also somehow finds time to attend college, studying Music Technology.
As well as his DJ work, Ego has produced two tunes with DJ Keen. Catch DJ Ego at Time & Envy Friday and Saturdays, and not forgetting Tuesday Night Under 18`s. Also on Erotic 101.3FM, Sunday 12pm - 2pm & Active 107.5Fm Check out: |
